Snehil Chaddha (born 10 June 2004) is a composer and sound designer working across films, advertising, and digital media. He began exploring sound and music during school, experimenting with jingles, background scores, and small compositions. By Class 12, he had already composed for his first film project.

After finishing school, Snehil focused on Mumbai, the centre of India’s music and film industry. He even attempted to join Mumbai University for Hindustani vocals to deepen his understanding of the city’s creative culture. Although he did not secure admission that year, he used the opportunity to begin building his own projects, sharpening his skills and expanding his network.

Since then, Snehil has developed a self-directed career without formal training, regularly travelling to Mumbai for client meetings, film readings, and ad campaigns. He has produced background scores, jingles, and sound design for more than six international films and three Indian films, many of which have been showcased at festivals including JIFF and the Mumbai Film Festival.

Today, Snehil’s work focuses on combining storytelling and sound to create compositions and audio design that enhance narrative impact for filmmakers, agencies, and brands. He is now looking to deepen his involvement in the advertising industry, particularly within post-production, to deliver complete, end-to-end audio solutions for campaigns and branded content.
